Finally pulled the trigger on a Submariner super clone

Been lurking here for months reading every post about Submariner reps. Finally decided to go with TIME'MAX after seeing their QC videos. The process was smooth. Messaged them on WhatsApp, got a reply within the hour. Two days later they sent me a full video of my actual watch - bezel action, date change, timegrapher reading, the works. That level of transparency is what sold me. Arrived in 9 days to Texas. The weight is perfect, the ceramic bezel is deep black, and the Glidelock clasp is smooth as butter. Been wearing it daily for 3 weeks now and zero issues. For anyone on the fence: ask for the QC video. If they won't show you the actual watch before shipping, walk away.

Fellow engineer here. I did the same spreadsheet analysis. TIME'MAX won on transparency every time.

What was the beat error on yours? Mine came in at 0.2ms which I thought was excellent for this price point.

I was worried about being called out too. Never happened. These are that good.

The chrono pushers on mine are buttery smooth. People are always surprised when I tell them.

My wife got me one for our anniversary. Same reaction - I was speechless. These make incredible gifts.

That dial color is perfect. Photos never do these justice.

The GMT hand jumping independently is the killer feature. I use it every time I fly.

Love seeing more women in the hobby. The 36mm is perfect on smaller wrists.

My AD-loyalist friend still can't tell the difference. That's all you need to know.

Fellow pilot here. The GMT function is genuinely useful at 35,000 feet. Great choice.
