Datejust 41 - my first super clone, blown away

I've owned two genuine Datejusts over the years. Sold them when times got tight. Missed having one on my wrist. Decided to try a super clone after reading posts here. The fluted bezel is what got me - it catches light exactly like my old genuine one. The jubilee bracelet drapes perfectly. The sunburst dial shifts from silver to almost white in direct sun. The date change at midnight is crisp. The cyclops magnifies properly. The crown screws down smoothly. My wife, who has seen my genuine ones, couldn't tell the difference. That's all the validation I needed.

I dive with mine every weekend. The bezel action is still crisp after 6 months of salt water.

Retired as well. The research process was half the fun. Enjoy the watch!

How is the lume holding up after a few months? That is usually the first thing to degrade on replicas.

Fellow engineer here. I did the same spreadsheet analysis. TIME'MAX won on transparency every time.

Nice! What strap are you running on it? I find the bracelet a bit heavy for summer.

Love seeing more women in the hobby. The 36mm is perfect on smaller wrists.

The bracelet on mine has zero stretch after a year. Quality is legit.

Great write-up. I have the same model and everything you said about the finishing is spot on.

This is so sweet. I did the same for my husband last year and he still talks about it.

Beautiful piece. Did you get the Swiss movement option or the standard? Trying to decide if the upgrade is worth it.

The value proposition is insane. I spent $500 instead of $15,000. Zero regrets.
