I am not a watch guy. I do not know the difference between a 3135 and a 3235, and I could not tell you what a rehaut is. What I do know is that I wanted something that looked sharp for my brother's wedding without spending a semester's tuition. The team at TIME'MAX walked me through everything on WhatsApp. I told them my budget and what I liked, and they recommended the Datejust 36 with the silver dial. They sent me a video of the actual watch before it shipped - the fluted bezel catching the light, the jubilee bracelet draping over their hand, the date changing. It looked perfect. At the wedding, my brother's father-in-law, who collects watches, asked to see it. He turned it over, checked the clasp, looked at the dial under his reading glasses, and said 'nice piece.' That was all the validation I needed. Shipping to Denver took about ten days. The watch keeps perfect time and has become my go-to for anything that requires a collar. If you are a normal person who just wants a great-looking watch without the boutique markup, this is it.

This is so sweet. I did the same for my husband last year and he still talks about it.

The fluted bezel on the Datejust is what got me. It catches light like nothing else.

What was the beat error on yours? Mine came in at 0.2ms which I thought was excellent for this price point.

Great write-up. I have the same model and everything you said about the finishing is spot on.
